Boat building has beeen in existence on the Firth of Forth since 1881. Coast Craft continues this service of quality and expertise to its wide range of customers.

Coast Craft has progressed under the ownership of Alec McCran who, as an experienced shopfitter, has sought to develop the business in new areas.

With a well-recognised presence and reputation throughout the Edinburgh area, we have a highly skilled joinery practice as well as a successful small boat building service.

Our experienced team of joiners and shopfitters work to quality standards that typify the reputation of the company.

All our employees are highly experienced craftsmen groomed in traditional skills with the ability to fashion and mould all types of timber.

Coast Craft has now established itself as one of the smaller, dynamic companies manufacturing high quality shop fittings and specialised joinery products. These include:
high quality stair casesbespoke window frames
   (sash, case and casements)small craft and dinghies
   (timber and fibreglass)

Contracts can be taken from the initial design stage, to full setting-out details, manufacture, fix, through to final site clean up and hand over.
